This year in particular, the signs of Spring are so wonderful. It has been a very long hard Winter. I am getting 10-12 eggs/day from my hens. And I don't have a rooster, so that's a lot of eggs. Happy Tuesday

I'd roast those birds if it were me. And they even brought the kindling.
That is not nest bedding... it's an offering to the grillmaster to propitiate him so that he doesn't grill them or their relatives...The birds have offered smoking flavouring for his first grill of the season!
Pita, there is a vent in the back(by design) and somehow they get in. There is a discussion in our house as to whether or not the canvas cover was on.Debra, That's lots of eggs!
