Sadly, the creator of My Town Monday, Travis Erwin, lost his home in a house fire yesterday. His family is safe, but they have lost everything. Please leave him a message of encouragement and support on his blog. I will continue to host MTM until he gets back on his feet.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it awful? This is the kind of thing we (Victim Services) have been trained for. We have numbers to call, free chits for hotel rooms, residences that accept the (suddenly) homeless.
ReplyDeleteI saw his post last night and just felt shock. He must be staying somewhere to have computer access.
I know there is some infrastructure in place, this being North America. EMS services are such wonderful people. I know they are in good hands. This kind of tragic event brings out the best in friends and neighbours. We see it all the time around here.
