'Cept for that first one, I love those pix.
Very odd, nesting in the grill. Wonder how they're getting in? We've never had that kind of problem.
This year in particular, the signs of Spring are so wonderful. It has been a very long hard Winter.
I am getting 10-12 eggs/day from my hens. And I don't have a rooster, so that's a lot of eggs.
Happy Tuesday
I love them! Thanks for a taste of spring. We have nests everywhere, too!
Love the pics! Living in FL sometimes makes you forget what those first signs of spring really look like.
How wonderful!
Your part of the world is beautiful!
Aloha-
I'd roast those birds if it were me. And they even brought the kindling.
That is not nest bedding... it's an offering to the grillmaster to propitiate him so that he doesn't grill them or their relatives...
The birds have offered smoking flavouring for his first grill of the season!
Pita, there is a vent in the back(by design) and somehow they get in. There is a discussion in our house as to whether or not the canvas cover was on.
Debra, That's lots of eggs! Shall I bring you a rooster?
Jenn, yes I'm sure you're seeing the same blossoming in your area. Wonderful, isn't it?
Kristin, I think I'd like Fla especially in winter, but I would miss the changing seasons. It gives me hope.
Cloudia, as is yours!
Travis, it has occurred to dh!
Chris, mmm...I never heard of using pampas grass as a flavoring but we'll give it a try :-)
