Ds asked to see a photo of what I looked like when I was a kid. I pulled out a photo album which was of my later "kid" years. He looked at the line up of cheerleaders and asked, "Which one are you?" I pointed to the girl pictured above, to which he replied, "Gee, mom, you were skinny." Thanks. Nothing like the truth to lift one's spirits for the day.

Gee, Thanks....

You were a cheerleader? Somehow I always pictured you as more the cocky softball catcher type... You aren't catty enough to be a cheerleader. (Are you?) Maybe my impression of cheerleaders is a little skewed because here in Texas, making the cheer squad is considered THE stepping stone to fame, fortune, and a shot at marrying a Dallas Cowboys quarterback. So it's a little over-the-top competitive. :)
