This oil painting of William was created by Anna from a photograph taken by In the Good Shepherd's Care. The photo of the oil painting doesn't do it justice, but you can get an idea of her wonderful talent and hard work. I continued to be amazed by my children.

Wow. I'm amazed by that too. It's wonderful!
That is absolutely beautiful.
I'm equally amazed, not only at your girls' talents, but also that you got a 5 yr. old boy to stand still long enough for that photo. ;)
OMG that is SOOOO good. It looks so realistic. Plus his expression and the whole picture tells a great story. WOW is all I can say.
You have very talented children.
breathtaking. Anna, you are a truly gifted artist
That looks quite remarkable; Good luck Anna, in the final round. The business of art is about marketing, and juried competitions have always been around; think of the salons of Paris.
And the creation of art is internal, well mixed with extraordinary hand/mental eye coordination...
Felicitations (congratulations in French) for what you have achieved so far.
As per the national round...
Jia you, jia you (with oil, with oil which is what Mandarin Chinese speakers chant at competitions, because if you add more oil, things cook faster and the Chinese live on their stomaches. OK. I will stop.)
(Ooh, not yet I won't, because the Germans (and your have German heritage, I know) say "gibt Gas" or Give it gas (let it rip, pedal to the medal ...because they like fast cars).)
Tschuess,
Chris
